It has been 10 years since I joined VYP, and in those 10 years, I continue to see the resiliency grow- not only our students' resiliency from learning the 5 practices and/or becoming teachers themselves, but of our organization. Like so many other nonprofits, the pandemic took a lot of effort, time, and money to get through while providing SO MUCH YOGA FREE TO VETERANS when we all needed it most.

This year's fundraiser is vital to be able to return wholeheartedly to our in-person mission, AND support our online community which is still a vital gathering place of accessible, effective community practices. VYP's work includes classes, 200 hour teacher trainings geared towards Veterans, Mindful Resilience training for yoga teachers, clinicians, Veterans, and family, and the always free (and ever expanding) digital library of meditations, breath work, guided rest, physical practices, and more.

We love to serve those who served us. We think you do too! The 18million Veterans in the U.S., their families, caregivers and the other healthcare professionals who support them turn to Veterans Yoga Project every week for the more than 5,000 Yoga and Mindful Resilience practices classes we hold each year.

Veterans Gratitude Week is a national outreach and fundraising event that encourages yoga studios and instructors across the country to host donation-based classes to support the veteran community. Everyone is welcome to take these classes!
