My name is Ceasar F. Barajas and I’m a 7yr Navy Veteran & proud certified healing centered/trauma informed Veterans Yoga Project Teacher & Ambassador. This year I’m celebrating multiple milestones and am humbly asking you to celebrate with me! 2025 marks my 10th anniversary working alongside the Veterans Yoga Project, and I celebrated my 50th trip around the sun. This October also marks the 50th anniversary of the USMC Marathon in Washington D.C. and my Beautiful & Wonderful Wife and I will be running it to raise money for VYP’s Veterans Gratitude Week.
This is our first marathon!! My Wife is an avid runner and has multiple half marathons/10Ks/5Ks under her belt. Entering 2025 and my 50th year of existence on this planet I decided to join my Wife in the running game and we’ve already completed several 5Ks, a 10K trail ramble & my first ever half marathon! I’m doing this for her because training together is one of our love languages and to raise awareness to support Veterans and all who are affected by mental health struggles & experiences. That includes me. I’m hoping you’ll support assisting me in removing the stigmas around mental health issues and to create even more open dialogue to encourage supporting Veterans and those who need support.

Veterans Gratitude Week (VGW) is more than just a fundraising event—it’s a national movement to honor, heal, and empower those who have served. Hosted by Veterans Yoga Project, this inspiring week brings together individuals, communities, and organizations to raise awareness and funds through donation-based yoga and mindfulness classes in support of our nation’s veterans, active duty service members, and their families.
