What a world and country we live in! I truly feel that our country's and our world's best assets are the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. And in a time of great challenge, Veterans Yoga Project is supporting these men and women who have the most training, inclination towards service and sacrifice, and strength and integrity and bad-assness, to help our communities in the movement from post-traumatic stress to post-traumatic growth. By sharing the practices of Mindful Resilience, we are helping our communities heal and strengthen and prosper together.
In particular, there are many men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Please participate in our virtual Light-a-Candle campaign to honor their sacrifice and to fund programs that are helping support those who are still struggling with the invisible scars of military service. Memorial Day represents one day of national awareness and reverence, honoring those Americans who died while defending our freedom.
We invite you to participate in Light-A-Candle, by making a dedication to honor those who have served. This year we are partnering with A Network for Grateful Living to bring our community a unique experience of being able to light a virtual candle for your personal intention.Your gift will go directly to support recovery and resilience among our veterans, families, and communities. These programs include more than 100 free Mindful Resilience yoga classes across the USA, training scholarships and healing retreats for veterans.
