As many of you know, I do not accept personal donations for offering yoga at WSOC.  Instead, twice a year, I ask you to make a donation to the Veteran's Yoga Project. I am a volunteer for this organization and am committed to their work.  

Light-A-Candle is an opportunity to raise awareness to what Memorial Day represents: One day of national awareness and reverence, honoring those Americans who died while defending our freedom.

Your gift will go directly to support recovery and resilience among our veterans, families, and communities. Our programs include more than 100 free Mindful Resilience yoga classes across the USA reaching hundreds of veterans a week, training scholarships and healing retreats for veterans. 

After donating you will receive an email with a link allowing you to light a virtual candle for your personal intention, thanks to our friends at A Network for Grateful Living.

Light-A-Candle is a nationally supported peer-to-peer fundraising event. A votive candle will be illuminated for your dedication during a special yoga event "Breathe Free" aboard the USS Intrepid sponsored by lululemon's Here to Be community-based social impact program honoring our military on June 3rd.
