2024 Pets for Vets

Do you love your pet?
Is your pet a pillar of support for you?

Get ready to show us your pets! Within our Veteran Community, many veterans tell us how their pets support their well-being and good health. Pets not only love us, but they also support us in living healthier lifestyles by keeping us company when we walk, bike, do yoga, take hikes, or event rest. Some animals even surf or swim, climb mountains, ride skateboards and so much more!

At Veterans Yoga Project (VYP), we’re celebrating the very best of our “Pets for Vets” in a special photo calendar fundraiser!

Show us your pet supporting a healthy lifestyle, your well-being or inspiring your fitness workouts! Capture your best pet photo and submit it for our photo calendar contest. The 13 photos that receive the most “donation votes” will be featured in our VYP Pets for Vets Photo Calendar!

• Contest Dates: May 1st – June 30th
• Who is Eligible? Everyone is able to participate.
• What Pets are Eligible? All pets so long as they are shown supporting health, fitness or well-being!

How to Enter

1. Fill out a Pets for Vets registration page and create your fundraiser page by visiting www.veteransyogaproject.org/enterpetsforvets.
2. Take your best picture of your pet supporting you in exercise, health, fitness training or well-being. Upload your picture to your fundraiser entry page and tell us why your pet is a stellar pillar of your world!
3. Get all your friends, family members, and social media followers to cast a $1, $5, $10, $20 or other $$$ “donation vote” for your “Pet for Vet”. Each $1 donation = 1 vote for your favored “Pet for Vet”.
4. Donation votes will be taken through June 30th.

The 13 pet photos that receive the most votes will be featured in our VYP Pets for Vets 2025 calendar and will be notified at the end of July. All winners will receive a free calendar and additional calendars will be available in a pre-sale starting October 1, 2024.
